Scrimmage

Our scrimmage against the U14 boys team will be Monday, June 16th at 6 p.m. at Bennion.

Wear black shorts, white t-shirt (no tank tops), and your other soccer gear.

Don't forget to bring water.

We will be talking about which days and times over the summer will work best for the majority of the team for practices. If there are days of the week that absolutely do not work for you, please e-mail me and let me know. Practice times will be in the evenings. When it gets really hot we might move them later than we have been having them, so take that into consideration too when deciding which days of the week are good for you.

Registration Now Due

Hey gals,

Registration forms are due now. I need the forms, a photo of you, a copy of your birth certificate, the uniform order sheet, and a check written to Razzia Futbol Club by Monday June 9th.

Also, I will probably be changing the practice game we have scheduled for next Friday since a few of you will be unable to make that game. I want to have a full team when we scrimmage Rich's team. I will e-mail you all to let you know for sure in the next day or two.

A New Season Begins

With games over and tryouts complete, we are officially beginning a new season of soccer for the Razzia Dragons.

We picked up some players that should help our team be even more successful in the 2008-09 season, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it all comes together.

End of Season Results

Congrats on a great season!

Our record was 7-4-1, and until the other teams finish their last couple of games we won't know our final standing, but it looks most likely that we will finish in 3rd place for the Spring.

Leading the division in goals scored again is our own Natasha with 23. Other girls from the team making the goal scoring list are Tawni with 8, Kris and Brooke with 7 each, and Nani and Alexis with 1 each.

Our defense was solid, and improving every game. Brook is a stand-out goalkeeper and the defensive line was beneficial in every win.

I hope you all had fun this past year. You have all made great improvements and are really starting to mesh well as a team.

We are looking forward to the 2008-09 season and for tryouts next week that will help us solidify a strong, full roster to help us achieve our goals for this coming year.

We have a tryout form for you to fill out and bring with you. You can e-mail the club at razziafc@gmail.com to request that form, or check back here for a direct link to that form.
Come ready to play in proper soccer attire (shorts, shinguards, cleats, etc.)
Bring water, a soccer ball, and the completed tryout form.

Non-Profit Status

Razzia Futbol Club has received its non-profit status.

If you know anyone who wants to make a donation to your team, let your coach know and we can get you the contact information to the gentleman who is in charge of coordinating that.

The club is still doing its best to keep registration fees lower than other competition level clubs, but any additional monies your team can raise will go directly to your team for tournaments, equipment, etc.

Welcome to Razzia

The Razzia Futbol Club has been created for the 2008-09 Soccer Season, combining three clubs from the valley--West Wind, West United and Midvalley Magic.

Until Razzia's full time website is up and running, this blog will be used to let you know results for tryouts, dates and times for said tryouts, and other information the club needs to pass on to players and parents.

Watch here also for updates and game results for the 2007-08 Girls U13 team. The Razzia West Wind Dragons have started out strong this Spring, and we hope to be able to continue that progress and move up in divisions in the fall.
